What the forms on this site ask you for
Every form here asks for a full name, an email address, a telephone number that may be left empty unless you want a reply by phone, and a reply preference. Beyond those four, what a form asks depends on the page: a topic, a ZIP code, how a property is held, a timing choice, the roof covering over a house, roughly when that house was built, how many people in the household drive, whether flood cover is already in force, and in every case a written note or question. Nothing on this site asks for a Social Security number, a driver-license number, payment or account details, medical information, a password, or an alarm or entry code, and none of those should be typed into any field here.
What happens to a note after you send it
A note that passes the checks described below is turned into a single email message addressed to one fixed agency mailbox that a visitor cannot choose or change. The message carries the answers you gave, a reference number generated for that one send, and the address of the page you sent it from. The email address you typed becomes the reply address, so an answer comes back to you, and no copy of the message is filed in a sent folder. You are told the note was sent only after the mail service has accepted it for delivery to that mailbox; if the service does not accept it, that confirmation does not appear. This website keeps no copy of what you wrote: form answers are not saved to a site database, to storage inside your browser, or to ordinary application logs. Once the message has been accepted, the agency mailbox keeps it under the same retention the agency applies to its other mail, and this website runs no separate cleanup of its own afterwards.
The automatic checks a form runs
Before a form can be sent, the page is issued a stamp minted for that page and that visit, and has to find a value that, combined with the stamp, produces a digest beginning with a fixed run of zeros; the work is checked again here when it arrives, and a stamp goes stale five minutes after it is issued. Timing rules apply on top of that: a page that opened moments ago is refused, and so is one that has stood open for hours. A field placed out of sight, which a person never sees or fills in, has to arrive empty; every entry is checked against the limits its own page declares; and two counting limits apply — one on how many requests reach a given page from a single network source, and one on how often the same email address is used to send. Each limit is counted against a one-way digest of the value rather than against a stored copy of it. Your network address is used to run these checks and to tie the stamp to the connection it was issued to; it is not carried into the message that is sent. If a submission does not pass, the page shows a short instruction to try again and says nothing about which check stopped it.
Telephone calls
A telephone call may be recorded for training or quality assurance, and you can ask at the start of a call not to be recorded. Recordings and client information are not shared with third parties or affiliates without legal authority. Client information is used inside the agency for agency purposes.
Text messages and announcements
Any text-message invitation will name the brand, state the expected message frequency, note that message and data rates may apply, and carry HELP and STOP instructions. Announcement messages can be stopped at any time, and agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying insurance.
Children
This website is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen. A child under thirteen needs a parent or guardian’s permission before using this website.
How visits are counted
This website counts visits over a path on its own domain and sets no cookies to do it. A browser sending a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal is left out at both ends: the page asks for no counting file and queues no measurement, and a counting request that arrives anyway is answered and dropped before its contents are read or passed on.
For other visits a reading is assembled from a fixed set of values, and anything a browser sends that is not in that set has no way to travel with it. The set is the page address with its query and fragment removed, the page title, the address of the referring page trimmed the same way, the screen size, a short run of yes-or-no flags about what the browser can display, and the counters, timestamps and clock reading the counting file attaches to a page view. Sent alongside a reading are the browser and device description and the language preference a browser states on every request, together with a network address whose final two bytes are dropped before it is stored. The full address is not kept in the visit record, and that shortened form is also the only basis for a location estimate, which is coarse enough to suggest a general area and nothing closer. Nothing you type into a form is part of a reading. Browsing is not linked across other websites and repeat visits are not tied together by a lasting visitor identifier. Raw visit records are deleted on a ninety-day schedule, while aggregate counts may be kept longer.
Who else is involved
Outside help is described here by what it does rather than by name. A network provider carries every request to this website and runs the automatic checks and the counting path described above, so what you type in a form passes through it on its way out. A mail service accepts the finished email message and delivers it to the agency mailbox. Visit counts are stored by measurement software the agency runs for its own reading. Beyond those, nothing is given what you wrote in a form: the counting path never carries form answers, and no advertising network, data broker or profiling service is given any part of what this website collects.
Your choices, and how to ask
You can read every page here without ever sending a form, and a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting in your browser stops visit counting on this site. For a privacy question, a correction, or a request to stop receiving announcements, use the quote request form and choose the Privacy topic; it reaches the same agency mailbox as every other note.
